1) Afnan 9 PM For Men
So, I recently tested Afnan 9 PM, and I must say that I am impressed with this one. It is far from your run-of-the-mill scent. It opens up with a really great, fresh burst; the bergamot and apple really shine through right at the top, with a slight touch of cinnamon that makes it pop. It really catches your attention.
Florals start to come out and add a touch of elegance as it settles. Now, the real magic begins in the dry down; the base notes of the patchouli, amber, vanilla, and tonka bean create this warmth, almost sensual vibe. It is definitely a fragrance that stays on for hours; that is a big plus in my book.
Afnan 9 PM feels like a much more expensive fragrance than it is. It’s got a good balance of fresh and warm, making it versatile enough for different occasions. If you’re looking for a scent that makes a statement without breaking the bank, I recommend trying this one.

2) RASASI Hawas For Men
I purchased Rasasi Hawas based on much hype and can now understand why it’s so popular. It is a very fresh aquatic scent, but this one has more depth to it than the typical “ocean breeze” fragrance.
Right off the bat, you get a blast of citrus – lemon and bergamot – mixed with the slightest hint of apple, a touch of cinnamon that adds a subtle spiciness. It’s quite a nice, invigorating opening. As it dries down, you start getting the orange blossom and this hint of cardamom, which adds a gentle spiciness. There is also a plum note within that gives it a tiny touch of sweetness, which isn’t overpowering.
Now the base notes are where it really gets interesting. The warm, slightly musky undertones of patchouli and grey amber give a nice feel to it while the driftwood adds some woodiness. It’s all nicely balanced, making the fragrance stay long.
Overall, Rasasi Hawas is a great choice if you are looking for a fresh, versatile fragrance. Perfect for warmer weather, but I think you could really get away with it in other seasons too. The bottle with the python design is also very striking, even if a bit much for some. For the price, it’s really a solid buy.

3) Cremo Cologne for Men
Okay, so let’s talk about Cremo’s Bourbon & Oak cologne. Well, this one’s different all right. If you are into warm, woody, and slightly boozy scents, it is perfect for you.
First of all, bourbon’s there; it’s not real strong, but definitely very apparent. It’s not over sweet or syrupy like some bourbons. More aged and smooth with an oak undertone and even hints of spice. It shows off the oak as being pretty solid and giving the whisky a grounding element without just being straight up wood. There’s also a subtle spiciness to it, which they refer to as “distiller’s spice.” It adds a bit of complexity and keeps it from being too one-dimensional.
It’s a pretty straightforward scent – what you smell at first is pretty much what you get all day. It’s not a super complex fragrance that evolves tons, but it’s well-balanced and the notes just blend together really nicely. It lasts for a few hours before starting to fade as well for the price of it.

4) Salvatore Ferragamo
Let’s discuss Salvatore Ferragamo Subtil. It is one of those ‘classic’ scents which makes it understandable why so many people just love wearing it. The fresh and clean fragrance subtly spicy does the trick on anyone.
This one’s an opening that’s very citrusy and bright thanks to the mandarin orange, with a great spicy ginger and cardamom kick-there’s just that subtle warmth and spice that really completes this. It is not overwhelmingly spicy, however-it just gives it a smooth aromatic touch. A lovely note of lotus that would perhaps give it that bit of watery feel but, once again, it does not feel overly watery or “beachy” in any way, so more of a fresh clean water type of note.
As it dries down, the spiciness mellows a bit, and the smell becomes softer and more refined. It’s a very linear fragrance, meaning it does not change dramatically over time, but the different notes are well-balanced and work well together.

5) Versace The Dreamer for Men
Right from the opening, there is a nice combination of lavender and sage that brings a fresh, herbal character. There is also an evident tobacco note, but it is not too warm and sweet. It is not some harsh, ashtray-like tobacco; it’s more of a smooth, slightly sweet tobacco leaf. During its development, you can detect floral notes, particularly the rose and geranium, which add a touch of elegance and complexity.
The dry down is where The Dreamer really shines. The powdery notes become much more prominent and give the scent a soft, almost velvety feel. The tobacco and woody notes linger in the background to provide a warm and sensual base. It’s comforting and intriguing all at once.
The Dreamer is definitely much more mature and sophisticated of an odor. It doesn’t smell sporty nor overtly fresh; in other words, it will wear better as a perfume when the temperature cools. It’s also an odd fragrance, inasmuch as it tends to provoke love-it-or-hate-it reactions. Should you be seeking something very distinct and memorable, well, it is worth investigation. However, it won’t be a safe blind purchase. It has a very strong personality, so best to sample it first and see if it works for your skin chemistry. For that reason, it is a classic, and indeed, it is a scent that leaves an impression.
